    About

I've had this yarn since the summer and the pattern since the beginning of December, and they look made for each other. After weeks of knitting Christmas (and January birthday gifts), I thought it might be good to treat myself to a light weight and baby soft scarf.

Note: ssk on the pattern confused me initially until I found this tutorial in the comments on the pattern website: (ssK) https://www.purlsoho.com/create/2013/08/13/slip-slip-knit-ssk-2/

16/01 - Back to knitting this lovely lacey pattern after a little sock respite. It's growing like topsy and should be finished in a few days. that's if I don't get distracted by another new project!

21/01 - Another pair of socks distracted me. Just 16 inches to go and the Sublime yarn is going a long way, think I'll only need 4x50g balls to complete - will update yarn required when I've finished.
21/01 - Decided to give this scarf to my dear friend Elaine for her birthday, pale blue so suits her!

Making good progress, alongside some sock knitting. I've about 16 inches to go before finishing off with moss stitch border and blocking.

A bit larger and it would make a lovely baby blanket, this version will be a pretty scarf for the springtime.

As I start to knit this scarf, I'm reminded of just how delicious this Sublime yarn is and how well named!
