    About

    When Mama Bear saw the Chunky Cosy Cardigan I made for myself, she immediately placed a commissioned order of matching scarves for Papa Bear, herself & Little Bear.

    After pondering & tinkering with designs, sizes, yarn type, colours & finishes, we've come to settle on black scarves with grey fringes on Papa Bear's scarf & pink elements on Mama (Super Scarf) & Little Bear's scarves, just to give each individual their very own personalities. I've also decided to add a playful twist to Little Bear's scarf by substituting the fringe to pom poms.

    Can't wait to see the outcome!

      I am a complete beginner and I am looking to make the Mama Bear scarf. I noticed on the Pattern that 11 Skeins are required. Is this to make all 3 of the scarves? or is this per scarf? Thank you!

        Hello Jacinta. Thank you very much for getting the pattern. So pleased that you've found it & am planning to make it.

        11 skeins are for all 3 scarves. Mama Bear on its own requires 5 skeins & Papa Bear or Little Bear requires 3 skeins each.

        You could also scroll down to the material list on the pattern listing to see what else is needed for each scarf though I saw that the main yarn is currently out of stock.

        Mama Bear takes loads of patience especially for a complete beginner as it is the largest of all but I'm sure you're very determined to finish it :) . Am looking forward to seeing your finished scarf. My very best wishes. x

        @Na Yeo:
        Thank you so much for taking the time to reply!
        It will be my second ever project, and I am very determined to finish it for my trip to Japan this year.
        I am looking to purchase similar wool locally so that I can start it as soon as possible!
        Thank you again!
