    About

I started this sweater for my husband earlier in the year when the weather was cold but put it by as the weather improved. I only had the sleeves left to do. So I finished it this week. My husband is really pleased with it as you can see in the picture of him wearing the finished garment.

Great result, like your choice of yarn. I have just started this pattern and am half way down the raglan increases but hadn’t looked at the picture of the finished jumper for a while so have just realised the pattern isn’t written correctly to include the shoulder ribbing. I am not using a contrasting colour, think I would have realised the error before if I were. Very annoyed 😠.

This pattern is so full of errors and omissions it should be withdrawn from sale. It is appallingly badly written and if you followed this pattern you would not get this jumper! I am now on my second iteration, having knitted initially as per pattern to find fairly swiftly that it just does not produce this result. I have now used my own better judgement and it my work now looks a bit more like the product pictured.

You’re right it’s a dreadful pattern and very badly written, but if you are an experienced knitter you can work it out.

@Cynthia S: Indeed so, but we shouldn't have to work it out ourselves. I dont expect to do that for a pattern I've paid good money for.
I hope mine turns out as well as yours, still a work in progress.

Fantastic job Cynthia given the pattern is full of errors which if followed would not give the excellent result seen here.
