My sister likes Mickey and Minnie Mouse so I wanted to make my nephew a Mickey Mouse hoodie so I adapted this free pattern from Red Heart and got some great Disney buttons by "Dress it up" which are my favourite brand of buttons as very unusual. The pattern is Red Heart Soft-Baby Bear Hoodie LW2899 but there was a fault trying to link it to this project. http://www.redheart.com/free-patterns/baby-bear-hoodie
I would've finished it quicker but I was waiting for the buttons to arrive in the post and I like to do the button grafting where you pull the knitting loop through the buttonhole then put stitch back on the needle so buttons get knitted in as you go as reduces knots and finishing and the risk of buttons coming loose and young child choking on them.

Just to let you know I didn’t do the pockets on the pattern for this item though and just charged from red to black part way up and grafted the white buttons on as I went (where you pull the knit stitch through the holes on the button so no messy knots afterwards). I hope this helps.
