    About

It is going to be Phoebe's 5th birthday and she decided that she wanted a Minnie Mouse cushion. I had a cushion pattern that I wanted to use, but then had to find an image or pattern of Minnie to use on the front. In the end, I found an embroidery pattern and adapted it to fit the cushion by creating a grid on my laptop and painstakingly filling in the coloured squares to make a pattern I could print out and follow.

Hi Katharine, I'm hoping you will pick this message up, I have finally just completed my cushion cover using your pattern. I have posted a picture of it on a knitting page on facebook and several people have asked if I would share the pattern. I have said that I would ask your permission first or if you prefer, give them your email address and they can contact you directly. Look forward to hearing from you. Lynda

I absolutely love this and keep coming back to look at it! Have you considered selling the pattern that you made? If you do, I would love to buy a copy!

        Hi Lynda

the pattern is an embroidery pattern that I altered to fit onto a cushion pattern that I had already made (the beach hut one that you can buy on the Love Knitting site). If it would help, message me your email address and I'll email you across the square pattern - I literally knitted the back of the beach hut pattern, and then knitted the amended embroidery pattern from the computer printout that I created, one stitch for every square, and then went back to the beach hut pattern to finish the back.
        Hope that helps!
