Momma asked me to make her a hat to cover her head for "bad hair" days. She liked the idea of having something to toss on and cover up, similar to those made for my Gran before she passed last year; but wasn't keen on the beret style. She sent me a link to a photo that showed what she had in mind....but no pattern! So, not allowing that to defeat me, I got out the crochet thread and a hook and set to work.....it will likely need some modifications once she tries it on, but hopefully the first crack is close enough to make her happy until I can write up or find a pattern to make more!
