I am making everyone in my department Christmas themed hats for our holiday party this year. I'm feeling the pressure, but still having fun! I used characters from Christmas specials from my youth and used the troll hair idea for Mr, Heat Miser's flaming hair, it came out well. This is not a quick project, the hair alone took a few days and then I had too much hair and had to thin it out. I made "human" ears and then elongated them into troll/elfin-like ears, which could have been made a bit bigger, but the hat came out looking similar to the character I was going for and will hopefully bring a few smiles when worn!
