    About

I'm a relatively new knitter, and this is my first 'big' project! This is the fourth item that I'll have knitted - after making hats and a scarf I wanted a challenge for 2018 so I decided to try and knit myself a jumper.

It's still a work in progress - this is what just under a month's knitting looks like. I'd liked to have knitted more but I've had University exams to contend with. Now that they're out of the way I can't wait to finish it! I'm a bit scared to start the neckband, but I'm looking forward to the challenge!

I've loved working with the Paintbox Chunky Yarns - this is the colour 'Grass Green' which is a really vibrant shade, but my mum (who I taught to knit this month!) is making the same jumper in Blush Pink and that shade looks great too.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 6.00mm (US 10) 35cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Holder
    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : This pattern requires minimal kit - 5mm & 6mm single point needles, three stitch holders and a tapestry needle. I used stitch markers too to make counting my increases easier.

That is great for for your 1st big project, I made lots of things but did not like sowing them together. This time I want to finish the projects.

Well done! Stick with it as there is such a world to discover and the yarns are so much more exciting than they were when I started!
