    About

This Christmas, having learnt a little bit of knitting, I decided to create something for everyone on our list. Amongst others, a small pouch for the sister, a soft toy for a dear little sweetheart & interestingly, a pair of slippers (complete with glow-in-the-dark non slip soles, mind you) for darling grandma.

Due to limited yarn colours, we narrowed it down to either green or mint for its refreshing effect on any cold gloomy day. Green says the hubby, else Nan wouldn't want to wear for fear of soiling them. After having completed one side, it later dawned on us that it is so green!

So, we're sorry, Nan. Hope you wouldn't mind being mistaken as Santa's loyal elf, all year round!

Thank you, Liz. They're aren't in the knit book. It is a pattern I stumbled upon on the internet.

Mine here (and another purple pair) is a tweaked version that snugly hugs the foot's arch.

You could download the pattern from my blog ( blog.pashknit.com ). Search for Patterns under the Categories' section or February under the Archives' section.
