Simple. Straightforward. And Striking!
This scarf was crocheted in 8 continuous Wedges from corner to corner. The main pattern was based on a 2-row repeat that was easily memorized after the second Wedge. In fact, I was able to work the entire piece without much concentration at all. (Which is very rare for me.)
Once completed, a single crochet edging was worked across the entire top edge to stabilize the neckline and finish it off. And as an added bonus, the piece is completely reversible!
I used 2 50-gram balls of Jazz Handz Fusion Fiber Color Change Gradient (100% cotton) in the There colorway; although I only needed to break a bit into the second ball. I worked the first ball from the inside-out. Then, to create a mirrored color effect, I cut the last color from the second ball and proceeded to work the second ball from the outside-in. The gradually changing colors combined with the swirling circular lace gave the fabric an almost cosmic effect.
