Nordic sweater

I made this for My daughter, Tessa. (My son then wanted one, so I adapted the shaping and made one for him too!).

This pattern has been on my list for a while but I had been unable to get one of the colours of the suggested yarn. So it is lovely to see that you have done it in a different yarn and I love Debbie Bliss wool. Did you have to use different sized needles from that suggested in the pattern ? It looks beautiful .

Thank you - I did enjoy knitting this. It was the first project I have done in a while and certainly the first time I'd used circular needles. Consequently the list of different needles needed nearly put me off!
I love the look of the sweater in the recommended Icelandic wool but chose the merino yarn because it is softer next to the skin.

@Pamela R: it is beautiful love the trees. I love merino yarn. I know what you mean about circular needles. I want to try the magic loop if I get brave enough

@Vix: I found a good tutorial on You Tube and just went for it. Doing both sleeves at once seems to make the whole thing go more quickly!

@Pamela R: I will do it! Having a lot of trouble with thumb pain at the moment and hoping I won't have to give up knitting and crochet, would be heartbroken
