      Here's a little tip: Stuff the fingers and toes with short pieces of the walnut yarn. Roll about 6" or so round your finger to make a ball and stuff a few in until quite firm, this prevents the white stuffing showing through when you bend the fingers.

        Good tip Christine, I'll certainly try that. I've used that fibre used for needle felting before now to cover up the stuffing showing through dark knits. Wish it was possible to buy dark filler. I've found some but it has a really different feel to it.

        @Gypsycream aka Pat A: Hi Pat, It works well for stuffing bear nose too and it's a good way of using all those leftover sewing up ends.
