    About

    I'd made this with acrylic yarn (a 50p charity shop bargain - the turquoise one in second picture) but decided to give it a go in the lovely Rowan Cocoon. It used up almost 90g of yarn, so I've no idea why the pattern says 50g is enough. Cocoon comes in 100g balls anyhow. I've bought more balls to make some more of these - simple, yet not too dull to look at! I've not put on a bobble yet on either hat - possibly not enough yarn left of cocoon to do one of an appropriate size. But I like the hat without, all the same.

    Measurements

    Notes: The fit was much better in the Cocoon yarn than a less-stretchy acrylic. Also, I found working to 7" before decreasing was a little long for my head so I'm going to try 6" then decrease next time round b
