    About

I don’t enjoy cabling;it’s the sausage fingers! So I’ve avoided this freebie pattern till now. And I knitted two because I made a mistake on the first but then I made a different mistake on the second : did I tell you why I avoid cables?

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
      Drops Belle - Silver

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Cable Needle

    Measurements

Notes: 15cms x 18 cms (unblocked) which is smaller than the patterns suggested 19cms x19cms (7.5 x 7.5”). I used DK yarn rather than Aran and it’s not a bulky DK and has a loose twist which I think makes for a smaller piece.

It still looks beautiful, lovely knitting , I don’t know how many times I have to rip back my knitting because I’ve made a mistake,it just takes time and practice to get things right ,your knitting is beautiful 😊

Oh Alison, you don’t know how nice you are! My photography must have got better 😃. I would have frogged the work but I didn’t even realise I’d made the mistakes till I’d cast off! It’s an easy pattern too but I just get so flummoxed with charts.
