    About

    When my partner and I separated last year and I felt like my whole world was crashing around me, I took to knitting to console myself. It gave me the quiet and the space and the time to gather my thoughts and to heal myself. The rythmical back and forth motion comforted me whilst the world around me felt chaotic. It helped me to focus on the most important things in life - our 4 beautiful children. Our children needed more love than they had ever had before and so I gave them this in the best possible way I could - by knit knit knitting for them and surrounding them with warm woolly hugs. From headbands to blankets, cowls to mittens, my children are always engulfed by the warmth and coziness of a hand knit knowing that they are precious and that they are loved.

    Measurements

    Notes: 6 years old. My daughter is nearly 5 but I opted for the 6 year pattern because I wanted it to last her for as long as possible. It is roomy but fits very well. I think she'll be happily wearing this for a long time.
