    About

I saw a photo on Facebook of a hat that everyone was looking for the pattern. The hat was only available as the finished item so I decided to challenge myself to write a pattern to create a similar looking hat. After a few false starts I came up with this, knitted in Fishermans Rib and decorated with a fake fur pom-pom from Etsy.

That's brilliant, Jane! It looks really lovely. I've also have this store bought jumper that I've been meaning to reproduce but haven't gotten to doing it. Hope I would have the same tenacity as you did with your hat.

Thank you. I'm sure you will get round to the jumper one day and it's not as difficult to do once you get going.

I can only say how in awe I am, not only of your knitting skills but the fact that you made your own pattern. Your hat is truly lovely and ALL your own.
