When I saw this pullover I knew immediately I was going to make this for my oldest brother. This is my 1st ever adult sweater; Cheryl, the pattern designer, hosted a KAL on FB....she was a fabulous help and very patient with us all.
When I began blocking it was a lovely spring day, so I blocked on the patio table. It wasn't quite dry when the sun went down, so I brought it in on the kitchen table to dry. My Daisy hopped right up on it, and would not stay off it - so I had to get a sheet to lay over it while it finished drying...the silly girl layed on it all evening.
Daisy is a founding who arrived in my life a year ago April 4th. She has been a delightful companion, and allows her Mom to knit without too much fuss. She is a little blessing.
Back to the sweater....I gave the sweater to my brother over Easter weekend - he was surprised, thrilled, and in awe of the cabling and construction. Being a builder he has an appreciation for construction.
