    About

This blanket was made from scraps of left over yarn knitted together over time, it has been in the making for the last 4 years, and is eventually ready for its new home.

All yarns used were DK and it is made up of 4" squares, I think there are patterns that allow you to make this in one continuous piece but when this was started I didn't know that, nor was it my intention to make a complete blanket at that time.
I just used up oddments, whip stitched four together and tossed them into a basket for later use,

    Cast on 41sts,
    1st row, k18, k2tog, k1, k2tog, k18
    2nd row, k19. p1, k19
    3rd row, k17, k2tog,k1, k2tog, k17
    4th row, k18, p1, k18
Continue in this way until 3sts are left
    k1, k2tog, pass first st over,= 1st,
    Fasten off
One square complete, of course you can make them as large or small as you wish just increase/decrease your initial cast on stitches
