    About

I purchased this beautiful yarn (100gr in total) from Adele at H+H Cologne trade fair. Since the springtime weather in Germany always seems to give me a chill, I decided to test it by knitting a shoulder warmer, now named “Shawlette”. This was my first knitting experience with a boucle yarn & I am extremely happy that it is the boucle which was handmade by Adele’s ladies in South Africa!

I am happy to send my notes if you would like to make this shawlette.

As a front closure I used a pair of earrings, yes, earrings - just cut a small circular plate out of stiff plastic to prevent the backside from slipping through the stitches!!

    :)

    Yarns

    • Circular 8.00mm (US 11) 80cm

Other : Earrings as a front closure! Just cut a circle out of firm plastic and fasten on the inside of the shawl. The plastic prevet the earring closure from slipping through the stitches!
