    About

My step-daughter and her boyfriend announced their engagement recently; James is a lovely lad who spends a lot of his working life outdoors on ecological surveys. As he's now an 'official' family member, it's only right that he has the obligatory hand-knitted socks for Christmas...so here you are James, keep cosy!

Update: Lovely sock yarn to knit with; good length of yarn which would knit up to pair of adult size 12 socks; consistent colour banding means second sock matching is easy; very good value for money. I'll buy this yarn again, just wish it came in more colours.

    Notes: Shoe size 9

I added a cm to the leg length (20cm) and half a cm to the foot length (23cm) as I knitted the 7-9 shoe size and James is a 9 I wanted just a little extra room in the socks.

Lovely socks, nice colours too, good information about the wool too, I’m beginning to think I might have to try knitting socks sometime in the future!

      Correze

I've not used this yarn before and it's knitting up very nicely. Really good value for money, good mix of wool and synthetics for warmth and wear. I will be buying more colours for more socks in the new year.
