    About

In November of 2014 we had a lake effect snowstorm that dropped SEVEN FEET OF SNOW IN 48 HOURS. As a result, we were stuck in our house for over a week. Of course, this was a great opportunity to do some serious knitting (if you're a knitter). Well, I seized the opportunity to knit THREE Snobuddy families. At one point, I had the bodies all over our dining room table. My husband saw them and immediately asked why I was knitting bowling pins. We had quite a bit of fun watching the families come to life. I was so pleased with the results that I decided to photograph one of the families to use for our holiday card. I photographed them in front of my bedroom window, with my neighbor's house (and seven feet of snow) as the background. The cards were a big hit. The Snobuddy Families are a warm reminder of a very monumental storm in my City.

Wow what a beautiful card you made! I thought it was a false "photoshopped" background until I read your description. I love it! The Snobuddies are too cute. Thanks for giving me some ideas for next Christmas! Happy New Year to you and yours! ❤
