    About

Here is another sweater that I will send off to New Zealand for my daughter to share with a friend. It is entering summertime there, but on the South Island there are still windy cool days. It is my own pattern. I didn't do short rows in the back so there really isn't a front or back. This is the first time I've used Rico Essentials yarn. It is soft and was easy to work with. After splitting for the sleeves, I did a number of gradual decreases on each side of the body to eliminate a bulgy look.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6)
    • Circular 4.50mm (US 7)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : On the sweater body I used 3 different lengths of circular needles so that I didn't need to use magic loop. Magic loop on sleeves with a long cable.

Thank you for your compliments. I have done this snowflake design 4 times now, so I understand where to put the increases to keep the tension evened out.
