    About

    My friend's mum is undergoing cancer treatment and I wanted to make something to lift her spirits. I discovered one of her favourite animals are hedgehogs, so when I came across this pattern I had to give it a go! I am more comfortable with crochet than knitting, so this was definitely a challenge! I found the brown yarn for the prickles very difficult to work with and keep track of my progress. Any tips for a novice on how best to work this type of yarn, would be very much appreciated! I am determined to tackle the challenge again, but I'm pretty chuffed with my first attempt.
