    About

    I've been driving myself insane for the past 7-8 Mos. trying to figure out how to knit a toe-up sock. I have attempted literally 50 patterns. I followed them all to a 'T'. I just couldn't figure out why it was not working. About 2 weeks ago, it was like something just 'clicked' in my mind and a light turned on... All of a sudden I realized that I was doing the increases (LLI & RLI) backwards. I had realized that I was technically knitting the sock upside down so the increases had to be opposite. It was like, "Eureka!", and aloud I began to sing, "Oh Happy Day"! A happy day it was, indeed!!

    ** I've tried every increase out there and I find that the lifted increases are the best! My opinion, anyways... ????????

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
      Yarn Cafe Creations - Railcar 200.0 yards

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 2.25mm (US 1) 100cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    Other : I used a US1 40" Chiagoo fixed circular and two stitch markers.

    Measurements

    Notes: I wear a 8.5US in mens (I don't have any women's shoes, so I don't know my size in women's- sorry!) and I don't like my socks to show when I'm wearing my Nike's (sneaker of choice ????). However, I have a difficult time finding socks that fit me the way I like and not show, so I set out to knit myself some custom socks. That's just what I'm doing!!

    * 10.5" long
    * 9.5" around widest part of foot
    * Afterthought or "Fish Kiss" heels and..
    * I HATE TALL SOCKS!! ????
