    These socks are set to be shipped across the world for Rory, a friend who is currently posted overseas with the Royal Navy and not due home until next year.

    I bought the yarn at Alnmouth Wool Festival in 2016. Although this is my first pair of plain socks, I liked the subtle colours and softness of the yarn.
