Just liked the little squirrel on pattern, thought Iβd give him a go.
Clear row by row pattern instructions, easy to follow. Would have found it helpful to have exact instructions for placing the eyes. Found the hardest part trying to get my squirrels face to look as attractive as the one on thepattern. Not helped by the fact that this is the first time I have used safety eyes. Bought on the net came without instructions, hence I did not initially realise that once the backs have been attached they cannnot be removed. Therefore it was with difficulty I managed eventually to reposition my eyes, doing it from the inside out.
I think I may have been generous with my stuffing as my little squirrel is a bit on the plump size, too many nuts !!

If you click on the squirrel it should take you to the pattern on the site.

Good on the squirrel with his nuts which he probably found hard to find.

Thank you. π. Yes itβs hard to get it just right with the safety eyes . Not helped by the fact you canβt adjust them once the back is attached, one of mine is very tight; also as I was actually able to eventually push the eye back through my knitting (when repositioning) I think a child could probably do the same .
Yes I think he is very busy stocking up with his nuts for the winter π
