    About

    Began with joining the Stardust Melodies CAL by Polly Plum. The lovely textured squares inspired me to come up with an framing border and joining method which would put some space between squares and showcase them. Finally, I designed a border to emphasize the somewhat vintage look. The border is called Border Baroque.

      Did you do a round of sc BOL on each square before doing the joining pattern.

        Here's how I CREATE AN INSET “FRAME” BORDER before the joining row.
        Join yarn with slip stitch in corner space, ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc.
        back post dc in each of next 31 sc, 2dc, ch 2, 2dc
        Repeat around the block, sl st to top of ch3.
