Stash-busting Star Stitch Dishcloth

I made this for a number of reasons; a new pattern, to use stash and for myself.

    About

I used a ball of Aran cotton which I had wound from a lot of bits of leftover cotton from other dishcloth projects hence the spectacularly ugly dishcloth. It may be unsightly but it works well and I loved working the pattern itself.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 4.50mm (US 7)
    • Single Point 4.50mm (US 7) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : Crochet hook to make a single chain loop - my one crochet skill.

    Measurements

Notes: The pattern says 9" x 9" but this measures 9.5" x 9" but it hasn't been blocked, Truthfully it's the mixture of cottons - I could feel the changes in density when the colours changed even though they were all Aran weight.
