    About

I became ill in the Summer of 2016 and have been in and out of hospital ever since. This project accompanied me to appointments and admissions, in waiting rooms and train journeys to hospital. It was like therapy for me, and I found it meditative in the most difficult of times. To me it represents the ongoing progression of my illness, and the yellow stripes on the sleeves represent hope for my future. This Jumper has sparked many conversations in waiting rooms and wearing it feels like a great big hug to me!

Hi Fi-this is just beautiful-I love it! I know how therapeutic knitting can be-I was poorly in 2014 and spent lots of time knitting at appointments and whilst off work. I am now back at work but make time to switch off with my needles and enjoy the calm it brings x

Your jumper is lovely, and it's so good that it kept you going through the hard times. Now it's finished, look forward to the next project!
