Sylter Mütze Bling Edition

    About

    This classic hat is knit with a double strand of DK weight merino and mohair. The crystal beads wer added as I knit - by using a very thin crochet hook to pull the mohair strand thru - only at a given stich - then place the mohair back onto the knitting needle and continue.

      Baby Silk Merino DK by Rowan - hell grau ✕ 1 ball
    • material-yarn
      Mohair Luxe by Lang Yarns - white ✕ 1 ball

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 0.50mm
    • Circular 3.50mm (US 4) 50cm
    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6) 50cm
    Other : The swarovski crystal beads were added as I knitted - by using the very thing crochet needle to pull only the mohair yarn of a given stitch thru. I used a second circular to reduce at the top of the hat (as opposed to a set of DPNs). I frequently use this

        I added the svarowski crystals with a very small crochet hook - perhaps I will have to add this technique when my blog (Wool Activist) is up and running.

      Der Rand rollt sich zusammen. Von der unteren "Kante" bis zum ersten "Diamant" sind es ca 5,5-6,0cm. Ich werde versuchen, ein Foto zu machen und nachtraägllich hochzuladen.
