    About

    Using up some some oddments of wool from my stash. Freehand knitted using a few handwritten instructions from my mum. Cosy knitted with 2 strands of wool to give good insulation. Roses and leaves made from a free pattern I found online.

      Medium Tea Cosy

      Needle size 5.5 mm

      Using 2 strands of DK yarn - make 2 and join by positioning spout and handle openings in seams.

      Cast on 33 stitches
      K3,P3 x 13 for however deep required
      Basket stitch
      Decrease for top P1,P2tog to end
      Knit next row
      K1,K2tog to end
      K2tog to end - 6 stitches - pull yarn through these and fasten off
