Textured sweater for little Harley

I made this for an old friend's newest grandson Harley.

    I loved this pattern the minute I saw it on 'love knitting', and this was reinforced when I saw two projects using this pattern. I found three balls of lovely deep green cotton yarn in my stash I had bought on holiday in the Netherlands in 2013! I knitted the 3-6 month size and needed 3 balls. I knitted it on a bigger needle size [3.5mm] to get the right tension. I tried 'Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off' for the first time on the neck bind offs.

    This was amazing, [see photo], will definitely use again. I also decided to leave one raglan open, single crotchet around the opening adding button loops as I went and add three buttons, which could be either at the front or back of the jumper. I am already knitting this pattern again!
