This is my first ever design. Five years ago I had to stop teaching because I was having up to 40 seizures a day. I lay on the sofa for 18 months very ill. I decided to pick up my needles and make something to cheer me up. I started fiddling around and here is the result. I then carried on desiging other shawls etc. My hubby convinced me I should try selling my knitting. I started at a local car boot and then joined a Artisan Market group. I then took the step of starting my own website with digital downloads of my patterns. Recently I have joined another local market group and am really enjoying being out meeting people. As for the seizures they have almost completely gone. I think I can honestly say that knitting actually saved my life. I am happier, healthier and ready for any challenge life throws my way.
