    About

Came across the pattern for this little matinee jacket advertised on the love knitting site and decided to give it a go. Fairly straightforward pattern knits up quickly. However there is some work on the top shaping as some of decreases are also on the purl rows and some differences for decreases on sleeves/fronts and back, so you do have to concentrate on every row. i.e. you don't get a break on the purl row. Bonus absolutely no sewing up to do. I did the 0 to 6 months size, the pattern quoted 2 balls of wool, the garment only took the majority of one ball. The cost of the pattern and wool for this very reasonable £2.99 for the yarn (for one ball) and £2.79 for the pattern. so overall an inexpensive knit.
