    I wanted to knit another tunic for Hannah's little sister. This pattern seemed to work better for me as it was designed just for Double Knit, with normal needle sizes, [compared to one I just finished for Hannah by the same designer which could be knit in either DK 8 ply or Aran 10ply]. The pattern was easy and enjoyable to knit. I loved the rich colours of the DK cotton blend yarn I bought in N.Z., [the photos don't do justice to the colours]. I went up one needle size to get closer to the recommended gauge, and I learnt to use the magic loop method whilst knitting these! I can't wait to take the two tunic tops up to Hong Kong when we go for Christmas and see if they fit???!!

        Thank you. It was an easy pattern to knit and turned out really well. I would happily knit it again! Looked very cute on Sarah! You can see her between the suitcases as we prepare to leave their apartment... she wore it to the airport to say good bye to us returning to N.Z. after Christmas with our son's family in Hong Kong :)
