    About

How to make a Tunisian Afghan that doesn't "curl" too much ? Used garter stitch rows on stocking stitch work. So try first row as dc ( US sc) then the next 2 rows in basic Tunisian ( loop row then reverse pass) Seems to work. This gave a very pleasing reversible "Hill & Vale" effect. I then used all my scrap yarns, changing colours every 3 rows .
Chain 76 then (1)1Standard dc in each ch to end DO NOT TURN (75) (2) insert hook YO & pull through in each dc sp.(76) (3) join new colour here. pull new colour through 1st loop,
    # yo pull through 2 loops # repeat to end (1 loop) Do not turn.
    (4) Miss 1st sp,1ch 1 standard dc in each SPACE to end TURN
    (5) Insert hook in 1st sp and pull loop through, leave on hook,
    # insert hook in next sp. pull loop through, leave on hook # repeat to end. Insert hook in top of 2ch do not turn (76 loops)
Repeat rows 3,4 & 5 to length. still working on project. Pattern is very "rough" please excuse any errors, still editing.
