    About

My daughter bought me a pin/brooch for Christmas to use as a shawl pin. It is so impressive I decided to knit an "outside" jumper and use it instead of a button.

Super chunky wool on 10mm and 8mm needles quick to knit up but seriously heavy. I used circular needles which helped.

I also found the collar tricky see notes in "measurements'.

Made it a tad bigger than the largest size to be the outside garment on a cold day and adjusted the sleeves for the same reason and the fact I have really short arms.

    Measurements

    Sized up from 107cm

Notes: Cast on 4 extra stitches add 2 rows when starting the decreasing for the arm hole. Add 4 stitched to the collar to tie up with the slightly longer length. The collar takes a long time to sew.

The collar proved tricky as you have short rows knitted wrong due to watching an episode of Sherlock and then I realised what it actually meant was the 4 rows then add 5 stitches to the last row for the following 12.

    Sleeves wider and shorter.
