I loved this pattern when I first saw it. I did it in Ramble, colour 119, a lovely soft ice blue.
The yarn knits up very well in cable and rib. If I did it again, I would put the cabling on the sleeves as well.

Appreciate your comment. I ended up "donating" this to my beautiful daughter in law. She is a lot taller than me. I found the garment stretched longwise on me after washing, but on her it was just right. It really is a lovely pattern, I think next time,I would do the rib, half what the pattern states and implement the herringbone stitch on the sleeves as well.
I totally was born in the wrong hemisphere (sigh) π
