What I like most about washcloths is trying out all the different patterns plus they are great for doing alongside other projects because they don't take long.
@Hazel H: Indeed. I learnt to knit, read patterns (my knitted work as well) & understanding gauges with them. Quite lovely projects, yea. Unfortunately, my husband feels that they're too precious to use as dishcloths so I stopped making them entirely! Hahaha...
@Na.Y: my husband thinks they are too expensive to use as washclothes or dishcloths as he can buy 4 for £1 in the shops - he is a bit of a philistine and doesn't appreciate decorative knitting ! Yea, he thinks I'm nuts ????
@Hazel H: Hahaha! Tell me about it! They'd rather use store bought ones. :(
Oh well, you could always seam all the lovely dishcloths you've knitted & turn them into an afghan or frame each piece & turn the entire collection into a wall display. I saw a crocheter doing that. Beautiful!
