    About

    I saw the dresses from this pattern book as a project on love knitting and really liked them so bought the pattern book online as it's quite cheap as the yarn is discontinued. I used DK yarn which knits a slightly bigger garment than the yarn in pattern. I decided to do the lace knit flower lower half in plain pink and use magic yarn for the top half and sleeves. Pattern did involve me using new techniques- cable cast on, picot cast on and picot cast off.

    Other : Small flower buttons from The Works. Very Small buttons required for this project as no "proper" buttonholes. You have to fit buttons through the lace part of button band and pre existing holes

    Measurements

    Notes: I made the largest size which is age 2-3 years and meant to measure 22" chest but mine is actually approx 28" because I used DK and the yarn on the pattern is slightly thinner than DK
