@Elaine C: My daughter-in-law is a NICU nurse and I am going to knit some hats for them. These are so cute. Are the patterns on your facebook? They are much cuter than the ones I've found with my net searches.......
@Kim G: I found some of the hat patterns on Google, Marianna Lazy Days Hats
I made those for the NICU at my local hospital
Hope this helps you, if i can help anymore please let me know
Happy Knitting
@Elaine C: thank you. You’ve been such a help. Maybe you can help me with this question. My daughter-in- law requested. Different sizes (not all babies in NICU are preemies). I found s couple of cute patters Wondering how to increase them a tad. Is there sort of a rule to follow?
It’s cast on 72. Decreasing at the end by 12’s. Down to 60 stitches. Than 48 etc
Would I add 12 to cast on Follow pattern than and a row if decreasing at the end?? This might be a weird question. Lol
@Kim G: Its a pleasure, you could use a size bigger needles, that would make it a bit bigger.
I made small, medium, large preemies, then new born, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, then 1-2 years Hope this helps. x
