    About

I was looking through my stash and realised I had some scraps of chunky yarn left over from my ab-so-lute-ly cloche hat. So I decided to use some helix knitting to design a simplestashbusting hat which can be made as a slouch or a beanie and comes in a wide rage of sizes to use whatever scraps of yarn you have left. I had just two colours, but you can use up to 5 in this technique which creates jogless stripes. I made a DK version of the pattern too!

I used smaller needles than the pattern recommends because I'm a much looser knitter than average.

If you look on the right hand side of this page you'll see a little thumbnail pic of the hat under the word pattern: if you click on that it takes you to the purchase page. Or go straight to: https://www.loveknitting.com/helix-hat-chunky-knitting-pattern-by-elizabeth-felgate. Thanks for asking!
