I wanted to try something new but not too complicated. I'm very pleased I found this pattern: it's not very hard and has given me the opportunity to practise different stitches & techniques (moss stitch, cables).
I've made several of these now & I'm just finishing my fourth. I've used various weights of yarns, not just super chunky as the pattern specifies (so the amounts used have varied).
I like this pattern particularly, as the construction involves making quite a large flap - i.e., the cushion doesn't have to be sewn into place so it can easily be removed for washing.
