    When my daughter Zinnia was born I had to go straight back to work - the life of a freelance writer - and Kerrie stepped in as nanny, managing to keep me sane. It was a joy to knit this little cardigan for her new baby now that she' become a mum too. I used a lovely Noro yarn a mix of cotton and silk - which makes it wonderfully snuggly.
