    About

I have severe ME and am mostly housebound. I have not been well enough for crafting over the last few years but recently I have slowly eased myself back in with some simple projects. I wanted to make myself a pink hat in solidarity with all the recent protests for equality, as I am not well enough to attend them in person. Once finished, I felt the hat needed a little something extra so I added on the cat face as an afterthought. I used two strands of yarn together to make the hat more chunky. I am really pleased with how well it has turned out, especially as I can only manage a few rows of crochet per day. It also doubles as a handy sleep mask for the many rests I have to take throughout each day. It is so lovely to be able to craft again, and now a friend of mine has asked me to make her a hat too! It's so lovely to feel I have accomplished something, despite my physical limitations.
