    About

I chose this outfit because I though it would be easy for Quinn to take off and put on. She's at that age where she wants to dress herself but can't quite work it out.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.25mm (US 3) 25cm
    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3) 60cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : I used the circular needles for the skirt as the 220 cast on stitches for the bottom would have been crammed onto my 25 cm straight needles; I swapped back for the pinafore bib.

    Measurements

Notes: The size is to fit the standard knit a teddy . I did not knit the bloomers because I was using up yarn from my stash and I did not have sufficient white yarn. However I was looking at some stash in my wardrobe and there were three small balls of white acrylic yarn - I think they were Hayfields - which gave me enough to knit the frilly knickers from another Knitables pattern. I added an eyelet row at the top of the knickers so that I could thread some elastic through if they were too loose ot some ribbon for extra decoration.

I’m so anxious now to have a look! Trouble is I want to make everything - the lion on knit-a - teddy is great and the unicorn! I’m on to the fiddly finishing of the sausage dog but progress is slow due to dark yarn! Thanks for your lovely support Michelle 😀

Thanks Michelle, I love your taste in toys too, the dogs in particular. But the knit a teddy’s are great and easy to knit.
