The Jilly Hat is a sassy free-spirit design perfect for the dare-to-be different and fashion forward individual. Knit it, felt it, and make it your own with embellishments such as flowers, bands, embroidery, and beading.
With your purchase you receive The Jilly Hat, two hat band patterns, and a crochet flower pattern shown in purple in the pics. You also receive comprehensive information on selecting appropriate yarn, felting, and the methods that I use to make felted hats. Embroidery stitches and wet felted pink and orange flowers patterns are NOT included.
The idea for The Jilly Hat came from my wet-felted hats which can be shaped in unusual ways. I wanted to be able to knit a hat and get similar results so I used strategically placed increases and decreases. The Jilly Hat can be shaped with interesting peaks and valleys and a curving brim as shown in the pics.
