Materials required:
Ladybird (Ladybug) - size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 28 yards/25 metres of 1-ply wool in black, 14 yards/12.5 metres of 1-ply wool in red, small amount of white for embroidering features, stuffing material.

These cushions were popular in the 1960’s and 1970’s.

Finished sizes:
Bee – approx. 2-inches/5 cm long by ¾-inch/2 cm wide.
Ladybird – approx. 1½-inches/3 cm long by 1-inch/2.5 cm wide.

Gauge – Gauge is not important for this project as cushions can be any size in reality.

These also make lovely miniature toys for human sized children!
