Description

There is a rainbow of hope at the end of every storm

After the Storm hat & cardigan set, sized for approximately 0-3 months. The cardigan is a top-down raglan with a textured yoke of coloured stripes. It features waist increases to accommodate bulky baby bums and is finished with applied button bands. The cardigan body is worked flat, & sleeves are worked in the round.  The cardigan measures 44 cm / 17.5” at chest; 16 cm / 6” from underarm to hem.

The hat is worked from bottom up, in the round, and features matching stripes. It measures 33cm / 13” circumference.

Hat & cardigan are modelled by an 8lb newborn with sleeve cuffs & hat hem turned up.

Gauge: 26 st & 34 rows in stocking (stockinette) stitch

Needle: Needle 3 mm or size needed to achieve gauge; your preferred type for working flat, and for small circumference in the round (for sleeves & hat)
