This hat had directions for two weights fingering and worsted. The fingering hat is sized for a Medium and a Large. The worsted only comes in Large. If you are comfortable playing around with gauge and the number of repeats, it is possible to come up with a wide variety of sizes.
Let me just start by saying that, I love hockey. In fact, "love" may be understating it a bit. So, when I decided to design this hat, I wanted it to be an ode to the backup goalie by choosing hockey team colors (in this case the Kings/gray, Sabres/blue). When I was a kid, I would see the backup sitting there, often in a baseball cap or with no hat at all and I thought their heads looked cold. For some reason, that's always stuck with me.
